Chemical Peels

At SkinSpa Rx we offer several kinds of chemical peels depending upon your skin type and the purpose of the peel. The various agents used are Glycolic, Lactic or Salicylic Acid. A consultation with our specialist is recommended to determine which chemical peel is best for your skin type.

Chemical peels help to fade brown spots and assist in clearing acne/blemished skin. Additionally, they help reduce the depth of surface lines and smooth out the texture of rough skin, removing the uppermost layer of dead skin cells from the surface allowing more vibrant skin to emerge. There may be slight peeling with this level of treatment. The number of sessions required to achieve desired results may be discussed during your Skin Analysis prior to treatment. The outcome of therapy will be a smoother skin texture, more even tone/color and a glowing, radiant appearance.
